yeah he might read this and I hope he does! I mean i dont think people are really trashing him, ok i maybe did that one time but that was my bad and it was out of frustration! Epke is a very solid player and i honestly believe JB would be just as influential in getting epke into the NBA as the next guy maybe and probably even more so than the next guy! He does infact have it made here at UM! I think by this upcoming november epke would have really made even more strides if he sticks around! He has the defense down and you know JB would really start to develop his shot, maybe even extend it to 3land! And that is infact what the NBAers like to see out of a player!!

i think epke's departure will have an impact on the team as far as wins and loses are concerned! He did in fact start to add some dimensions to his game! And with JB he would have only developed even more! Now its going to be up to Cronin Gibson and deshawn to make things happen in the paint! Which is somewhat worrysome to me! Unless Cronin comes in and is very good and has some offensive ability! Epke would have really rounded out our team nicley we would have had some good depth but now we are unbelievably thin at the 4 and 5! Which is why ive always said that we need to focus on a 4 to 5 player even on top of morgan coming in! I guess a plus in a situation like this is that it opens up a ship! Jb could go after a solid big guy! Someone athletic or versitale!!!

Heres the thing, i send a lot of these comments from my phone, which is why yall see a lot of exclamation points due to the fact my period button doesnt function properly! It seemed like the easiest alternative to end a sentance! I was unaware we were correcting eachothers grammer errors now! Wait its not even really an error! I dont mean for anyone to take this personal or anything!
as far as epke goes i would love to have him around but its his attitude that needs to change a bit! Seems to me he needs to display more of a team oriented attitude rather than a what does epke want to do attitude! Its tuff to keep a guy around who has wishy washy feelings about stickin around! Hopefully he will have a renewed sense of belonging here and give it his 110% percent! But we shall see!

I think he will stay and this is nothing more than a guy angry at last season. He has it made here, plus with belien's work he actually extended his offensive game by adding a 17' jumpshot to his arsenal.

Ky - I was simply stating that not every sentence needs an exclamation point. You make valid points often. Just hard to read. That's all.

I think Ekpe was beginning to blossom on the offensive end. He had begun to shoot outside, with mild success. He'd expanded his range inside the arc as well. He'll never be a dunk it in your face, make you a Sportscenter highlight type of player. He doesn't have the body type. But his finesse game had gotten much better late in the season. That's another reason that I'm sad to see him go. All the hard work in improving that he has done at UM will be the profit of some other institution should he decide to transfer.

And no, we'll never be tUoOS fans. They are ignorant and vicious. Being enthusiastic is one thing (see UNC basketball) it is another to be downright despicable human beings about it (i.e. Duke).

thats rite its the new period 3 musketeer!!!!!!!! I dont think its really drama at all, its just a simple fact emphasized. We need to forge ahead and get guys in here who want to be apart of this program! Being ho hum, laid back fans hasnt got us anywhere in the past! We should(it somewhat hhurts me to say this) but exude more of an ohio state attitude when it comes to athletics.

I wish Ekpe the best. This makes our defense worse. But if we are actually going to be better next year it isn't going to be due to playing better defense, it is going to be due to playing MUCH better offense. Ekpe's impact on offense was negligible this year and he was not the guy we were all looking to next year to start scoring. Thus, I think, the loss of Ekpe will not have much of an impact on our win/loss record next year, which I predict as 17 wins.
